Bad Breath (Halitosis)

What is Bad Breath (Halitosis)?

Halitosis can be very embarrassing and often offensive to other people, yet you may not even know you have Halitosis.

This odor can strike periodically or be persistent, depending on the cause.

Bad Breath

The primary culprits of halitosis are the millions of bacteria that live in our mouths. This makes our mouths the ideal environment for bacteria to grow in, because it is warm and moist.

When you have a sinus infection the sinus passages get clogged up, they become infected and the excess bacteria goes down the back of the throat. This foul nasal discharge is a major cause of Bad Breath and often has a bitter taste.

Bad Breath due to Chronic Sinusitis may be a recurring problem, especially if a structural abnormality of the sinuses is the underlying cause.

Dear Ann, As requested, here is my progress report -my bad breath is finally starting to clear up. Even my wife commented on how the "foul smell" has lessened after only 2 weeks. I am following the instruction guide and am looking forward to no more smelly breath.
