A. Sinusitis is the inflammation of the nasal sinuses due to viral, bacterial and/or fungal invasion or allergic reactions. Sinusitis starts as an acute infection, and if not treated, it becomes chronic. The symptoms of acute sinusitis are:

  • Bad Breath

  • A cough
  • Facial pain or pressure
  • Fever
  • Fatigue
  • Nasal discharge
  • Lack of smell

Chronic sinusitis is characterized by four or more recurrent episodes of acute sinusitis.
