A. Sinusitis is the inflammation of the nasal sinuses due to viral, bacterial and/or fungal invasion or allergic reactions. Sinusitis starts as an acute infection, and if not treated, it becomes chronic. The symptoms of acute sinusitis are:
- Bad Breath
- Dental pain
- A cough
- Facial pain or pressure
- Fever
- Fatigue
- Nasal discharge
- Lack of smell
Chronic sinusitis is characterized by four or more recurrent episodes of acute sinusitis. |
