Q. What causes a sinus headache?

A. A Sinus Headache can be caused when the sinus ducts connecting the sinuses swell up and become congested. Sinus headaches can be very painful and uncomfortable. This pain and pressure occurs due to air and mucus that is trapped in the membrane lining of the nasal passages.

The symptoms include:

  • Pain/pressure under the eyes
  • Pain/pressure in the upper teeth (the pain can be disguised as a headache or a toothache)
  • Headaches that tend to get worse if you bend forward or lie down.

Our Sinus Headache remedies help reduce the swelling, inflammation and help to drain excess mucus from the sinuses.
