- Place a few drop of Menthol or Eucalyptus oil in a bowl of kettle boil water. Inhale the steam in via your nose, continue doing this for 3 - 4 minutes. If you suffer from Asthma do not put Menthol or Eucalyptus oil in the kettle boiled water.
- Humidifiers should have there filters cleaned regularly to prevent the spraying of bacteria or fungal spores into the air.
- A warm compress can be used to relieve pain in the nose and sinuses.
- A sinus massage helps promote drainage and relieve sinus headaches.
