The following natural ingredients are used in the Sinus Stress remedy Extra Strength.
The ingredients are made into a liquid form using the homeopathic technique and are sprayed on to lactose (sugar of milk) tablets. Lactose tablets have no known side effects.
The potency on the extra strength remedies are higher than the standard remedies.
Adrenalinum
Adrenalinum is produced by the adrenal glands. Adrenalin is prepared into a homeopathic substance by trituration and serial dilution called Adrenalinum.
When there are high levels of stress, the body produces excess adrenalin. The proving of adrenalin (testing homeopathically prepared adrenalin on healthy people) produces the following symptoms and signs
- Congestion or a full feeling in the nose.
- Post nasal drip that is gelatinous and difficult to clear
- A copious watery nasal discharge when exposed to cold air, worse on the right
- Stuffiness in the nose with a pressure or full feeling at the root of the nose

Argentum Nitricum
Argentum Nitricum is also known as Silver Nitrate or Lunar caustic. Its chemical formula is AgNO3. It is a chemical compound made from silver and nitric acid. It has been used since the 1830's as a homeopathic remedy. It is first prepared in sugar of milk by trituration up till 3CH and then in alcohol.
Nose obstructed indoors and a thin mucus discharge when outdoors. Argentum treats pain, especially of the right nasal passage. Much sneezing and discharge from nose and posterior nares. There is loss of smell. Helps treat headaches due to sinusitis and from being over worked. Abrus Precatorius
Abrus precatorius is a climbing plant, a native of India, but has been introduced to the Western tropics, and its was used as an eye remedy and was discovered by the natives of Brazil, who gave it the name Jequirity. It has "small nearly globular seeds, which are of a brilliant scarlet colour, with a black scar indicating where they were attached to the pods.
The homeopathic mother tincture is made from the fresh plant and subsequent homeopathic potencies are made from the mother tincture by way of serial dilution.
This remedy has a potent anti-inflammatory effect. It has a special affinity for reducing inflammation of the eye and nose. It is useful to treat headaches that come on with an eye or nose inflammation. It is also valuable in calming the nerves.

Nux Vomica
Nux Vomica is also known as Strychnos Nux Vomica or poison Nut. It is a tree belonging to the Natural Order Loganiaceae. The fruit looks similar to an orange and contains numerous seeds that are circular and ash grey in color. The seeds are extremely bitter and contain Strychnia and Brucia. The homeopathic tincture is prepared from the seeds. Homeopathic preparation renders it completely non-toxic.
Nose stuffed up, especially at night. Nux Vomica treats stuffy colds, snuffles, after exposure to dry, cold weather. Coryza, fluent in daytime; stuffed up at night and outdoors; or alternates between nostrils. Acrid discharge, but with stuffed up feeling.
